About JG Custom Craftworks

To our dear Customers,

Custom Craftworks was started in 2014 by Jonathan and Angela Geersen. We began our small business focusing on custom, high quality craft work using nature’s most renewable resource.

Jonathan began woodworking in 1996, learning from his father. His first project was a pinewood derby car for Cub Scouts. This small introduction to wood working sparked a passion that has not been extinguished. Jonathan’s focus on detail and quality increased through a cat house he built in in 2001. Then in 2006 Jonathan took an Architecture course at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, integrating hardwood and steel into simplistic modern designs. From there he learned design basics, qualities and characteristics that make pleasing color combinations and eye catching patterns.

So often we search for quality, USA-made home decor and household products, and are disappointed with what we find on the market. This has driven us to begin designing and building the very products we sought to purchase. Our love for quality craftsmanship, and our passion for precision has allowed us to offer our skills to others. In 2012 Jonathan’s work expanded to in-home services, helping those in the community through volunteer projects, and various commercial ventures.

Today, we offer in-home installation of custom medallions, chair rail, bay window seats, cabinet doors & drawers, trim, book shelves, etc. We offer shop-made products such as cutting boards, cheese boards, shadow boxes, furniture, and other custom commissioned work. With the addition of a CNC machine in 2017, the sky is the limit with bringing your Pinterest likes to life!

Our mission is to build what you dream, using quality products, careful craftsmanship and ensure exceptional value. Each piece is custom crafted with heart, and will offer many years of great service.

Feel free to drop us a note or question, and let us know how we can serve you! Our galleries and contact information can also be found on Facebook and Instagram.
